How Does a Hotel Soundproof Wooden Door Work?
Noise complaints are the top pain point for hotel operators. Many buyers mistakenly believe a thicker wooden door equals better sound insulation. In fact, sound leakage mostly happens through gaps, not the door slab itself.
Our trending hotel soundproof wooden door is built as a complete acoustic system, not just a heavy door panel. We use a 50mm damping composite core. The damping layer reduces low-frequency noise such as trolley rumble and elevator hum, which regular wooden doors cannot handle well. The T-shaped door frame with dual EPDM magnetic seals creates tight sealing on the top and two sides. The automatic drop seal at the bottom closes the gap when the door shuts and retracts when opened, protecting carpets and flooring.
When all seals work together, the door achieves stable STC35 to STC42dB performance. We provide SGS acoustic test reports for tender and hotel renovation projects.
